Be sure to do plenty of ParaPro test prep! You can start with our free paraprofessional practice test. While the ParaPro test is not overly difficult, it includes some challenging questions. You may not use any study materials or notes, and personal items are not allowed in the testing room. The use of a calculator is not permitted. The testing center will provide scratch paper that you can use during your exam, but you should bring your own pen or pencil. Mathematics: 30 Multiple Choice Questions.Two-thirds of the questions test skills and knowledge while one-third focus on the classroom application of this knowledge. It is only given in English, and all of the questions are multiple choice.
The ParaPro Assessment is a computer-based test that must be completed with 2½ hours. You will be able to take the test online.

To take the ParaPro test at home, you must have a computer with a camera, an internet connection and the ability to install a lightweight app (prior to the test event).
Certification requirements for teaching assistants were established as part of the No Child Left Behind Act and the Every Student Succeeds Act. There are 2 ways to take your ParaPro exam, either in a test center or remotely at home using Prometric’s ProProctor application.
